Sometimes Fate Plays Tricks – Chapter 4

“I’m telling you, Kira, it was crazy! I rarely meet anyone of importance at work; I usually just submit my artwork, and then see the finished product.” Mila was curled up on her pink chintz couch with her phone pressed against her ear. A half-eaten pizza was haphazardly propped atop a pile of magazines on the glass coffee table. She reached down for her orange juice glass, and her hand clipped a blue glass candy dish. A bit of juice sloshed on her sweatpants. “Rats! Hang on a moment, Kira. I have to put you on speaker phone.” She placed the phone on the kitchen countertop. Read the rest of this entry

Sometimes Fate Plays Tricks – Chapter Three

CHAPTER 3

An hour later they were able to laugh it off, especially since the fruit ahjumma gave the offending pineapple to Jung-dae as a thank you. He idly tossed in one hand as they entered Mila’s office building. “Well, that was an adventurous lunch,” he quipped. She grinned and brushed his bangs aside to look at the red mark. “As for this, I’m going to cut it up as punishment and EAT IT’S SOUL.” The last was said in a mock-evil voice that made her giggle. He resumed his normal voice. “If it’s bruised, that may not work, though. Then I’m left with making daiquiris. Care to join me?” He wiggled his eyebrows and she laughed harder. Sometimes Fate Plays Tricks – Chapter Two

CHAPTER 2

Mila strode into her office, cheerfully greeting everyone. She had landed her dream job, working as a graphic designer for an ad agency in Seoul. It had been two years since she left a lucrative position in Clermont-Ferrand, France, to try her luck in South Korea. It had taken some time to get used to the difference. The French city was nestled between long-dormant volcano peaks, in a flat valley. The tallest structure was a hulking twin-spired cathedral. In Seoul, tall skyscrapers were the norm, blotting out most of the surrounding hills. Everything was neon-light bright, almost frenetic in the constant movement of vehicles and people. Sometimes Fate Plays Tricks – Chapter One (A Kim Woo-bin fanfic)

This is a fan-fiction dedicated to a Twitterbean friend, who wondered about a story where Kim Woo-bin meets a non-celebrity. Someone like… her?  LOL. Anyway, this story will unfold in between all my other writing projects, but I hope it becomes an enjoyable read!

A Moment’s Madness – (An Heirs Fanfiction) Chapter 8 (Final)

Thanks to everyone who read my first drama-based fan fiction!  I hope you enjoy the final chapter.  Shuk

CHAPTER 8 – The Day After Tomorrow

If Young-do had ever had this much fun in the kitchen, he didn’t remember it. Ki-ae had insisted on the cooking, and they fell into a pattern; when she requested an ingredient and he returned with it, he brushed against her, sometimes hip to hip, sometimes just a lingering touch on her arm.  The cook station rang with laughter as they chatted; even when she relegated him back to his dishwashing station. And she fed him tidbits while he was elbow deep in suds, moving back and forth to the stove where the soup was merrily bubbling.

The playful mood continued when they finally sat down at one of the window tables to eat.  Young-do sampled his omurice and galbi tang, savoring the taste of a home-cooked meal, and, even more, the company.   Read the rest of this entry

A Moment’s Madness – (An Heirs Fanfiction) Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7 – The Hangover

“Yes sirrrrrr, one of a kind…”  G-Dragon rampaged through Young-do’s head. What the hell was he doing there? The beat matched the pounding in his temples as he squinted at the Samsung on the table.  It was seven o’clock in the morning, and his caller ID showed “#100”.

He fumbled for it and propped himself on his elbows.  “This had better be good.”

“Young-do ah, do you know if my mother checked into your hotel?”  At the sound of Kim Tan’s voice the fuzziness fled, although the headache remained.  He glanced over at the figure under the sheets and silently cursed. Read the rest of this entry

CHAPTER 6 – A Night To Remember

Young-do could barely think through the onslaught of sensation. He pressed her further down, his tongue dueling with hers as she writhed underneath him, the taste of whisky and the feel of her hair invading his senses. Inadvertently, his bent elbow knocked the desk lamp onto the floor. Startled, he let go of her head, which hit the desk top with an audible thump. Read the rest of this entry

WHeir Are We Going: A Redirect Post

I think I need an intervention.  I have teamed up with several of my illustrious chingus to squeecap “Heirs: He Who Wears The Crown Must Bear Its Weight”.  Hey, with a pompous title like that, it’s gotta be good, right?  It also has a cast of about a dozen well known young actors, a few idols in need of acting lessons, and some beloved older icons.

Well, the first two episodes (so far) are set in California, so if you want to see how the world views Americans, tune in!  And cringe.  Anyway, everyone will be in rotation as recapper, squee-er, or gif-fer,  so stay tuned!  And if you are one of the 4,352 other people recapping this show, don’t worry.  There’s enough snark for everyone!Heir flip

CHAPTER 5 – Some Like It Hot

Her hands made quick work of his shirt buttons, her fingers streaking down the placket and finally yanking the tails out of his jeans. She backed towards the wall, pulling him willingly along as her kisses blazed a trail over his heart. She hit his desk, and, with a little hop, sat on the cool wooden surface. She released his shirt to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him against her. Read the rest of this entry

CHAPTER 4 – Pillow Talk

Ki-ae swirled her glass as she decided what to say. He shifted a little in his seat, and she found herself involuntarily drawn to his long lean legs, encased in denim. Her eyes continued up to the noticeable bulge at the juncture of his thighs. Abruptly her mind shied away from the direction of her thoughts. Words might distract her, she thought.
“You know, you don’t seem a thing like your father.” Surprise marked his features then transitioned into a bored look. Read the rest of this entry
