Thanks everyone for your patience! I ended up doing several South Korea drama recapping projects for my collaborative website, as well as a few medical issues. But here is the next episode!
We now begin Sri’s entrance into international fashion. It’s just a small showcase, what could go wrong?
NOTE: I have included some photographs at the end of the post to better explain the descriptions of the outfits worn during the showcase.
The runway was a gray slash cutting through the throngs awaiting the fashion show. Klieg lights lined the walls, waiting to spotlight the stage. Outside on the balcony, refreshments were arranged on tiers of white-covered tables. People milled around, alternately admiring and envying each other. The chairs at the VIP section as well as the stands at the far end of the catwalk were gradually filling with the chattering crowd. Read the rest of this entry
Who thinks the world is a better place for hot Thai actors on motorcycles?
Drops of water flashed briefly in the fluorescent light as Tik shook his head and started toweling it dry. It had been an excellent workout; this group of recruits showed great promise to become superior law enforcement officers. They were still out at the obstacle course, training, but he had to get back to office at headquarters. Read the rest of this entry
Here it is, the first installment of what I hope is an enjoyable read.
The liveried bellhop quickly ran to the curb as the elegant gray limousine pulled to a smooth stop in front of the Hilton Diagonal Mar in Barcelona. The man that stepped out exuded an aura of power and confidence. Dressed in a tailored double-breasted suit of dark gray, he gave a nod as the hotel employee retrieved two pieces of matched luggage. This year I’m going to jump back into the marathon novel-writing challenge that is Nanaowrimo. For the month of November, I’m expected to write a minimum of 1500 words per day, every day, for an end-of-month total of 50,000. With the creative and editing assistance of my OL and RL friends, I hope to do that and more.
I’ve decided to try my hand at a fan-fiction using well-known members of Thai entertainment as my main characters. Others in my story will be either complete fabrications in my mind, or more importantly, people I know and love on social media. Read the rest of this entry
Things in Raya have reached a boiling point. Good people are down, bad people are happy, and the mercenaries are just plain confusing. But it’s a terrible setback for those who want peace and prosperity for the country. Read the rest of this entry
2016 UPDATE: I have consolidated all my lakorn houses into one place: “Lakorn Locations” on my status bar on the top of my page. Or you can just click [here]. It now includes residences, business and natural areas. Enjoy!
Ah, there’s nothing like a palatial white house, with a huge columned port chochere, a sweeping staircase, and a beautiful fountain just outside the double-door front entrance. Sound familiar? It describes the majority of locations for filming in Thailand.
For those of use who are avid lakorn watchers, it sometimes becomes confusing when you are watching several shows that appear to be filmed in the same location. Here’s seven of the ones I found in duplicate. For most of these, I don’t know the exact location of these properties, or if they are public or private buildings.
Feel free to let me know if I’ve missed any lakorns associated with these locations!
The bad guys gain the upper hand as the palace collapses under the weight of all that intrigue. Poor King Inthra, who only wanted a loving wife, a peaceful insular country, and a pride-worthy son, and ends up with none of these.
Kamin is still an ass, but I think Mattana gets used to it. Anyway, we still get a few final cute moments before the chaos starts. And Hareutai is a smart cookie; for all her joy in the pregnancy, she’ll soon discover why her husband is always lost in thought and sad.
Our couple tries to secretly keep in touch with each other, but things are getting ugly in the palace as the useless Crown Prince’s behaviors are brought to light. Even though they are his responsibility, no doubt Kamin will try to deflect the blame. I’m beginning to think both Kamin and Makey need a sound spanking.
